What we do
Everything an in-house energy team would do — done for you
You stop thinking about electricity. We do the thinking for you.
Bill checking
Every invoice is checked against your contract and your meter data: the right rates, the right usage, the right charges. Billing errors get found and fixed — and you get a line in your monthly report confirming the bill was right, or telling you what we've done about it.
Usage insights
A monthly bill tells you what you spent, not how to spend less. With your half-hourly data we can show you how your site actually uses power — by hour, by day, by season — in plain charts and plain English, so it's easy to draw conclusions from.
Usage optimisation
When you use power matters as much as how much you use. We analyse your usage across the day, find where you're running equipment at expensive times, and show you what shifting it would be worth. Sometimes it's as simple as starting refrigeration or air conditioning an hour or two earlier or later.

It pays twice
- Now
- Your network capacity demand charge is billed on your max time of day consumption.
- At your next contract
- And this is the one most businesses never hear about. Retailers price your contract on the shape of your usage: a site that leans on the expensive hours of the day costs more to supply, and is quoted a higher rate, than one with the same total usage spread more cheaply. Improve your shape now, and you take a better-looking year of data to market next time. We measure your shape, show you how it compares, and track it as you improve it.
Energy efficiency
Practical ways to bring your costs down, in order of what they're worth to you. And if you carry out energy-saving upgrades: most states run schemes that reward businesses for them — as certificates that can be sold, or as a discount on the work. Where your site and your project qualify, we'll work with accredited providers to make sure that value comes to you.
Solar and battery
Will rooftop solar or a battery actually lower your costs? What size? It's hard to know — and most of the advice comes from people selling systems.
The right answer depends on when your site uses power, and on where your business is heading. We analyse your usage patterns and your future energy needs, apply current market pricing for solar and batteries, and tell you:
- if a solar and/or battery system makes sense for you
- how many years it would take to earn back your money
- what size suits your site
Cumulative savings after installation
Then it's your call. Find your own installer, or have us run a competitive process to get you the best system at the best price. We also keep track of the grants you may be eligible for and help you apply.
Your next electricity contract
Buying electricity at your size business is harder than it should be. To quote, retailers need twelve months of your half-hourly usage data. Their offers are often valid for only two or three days. And no two offers are laid out the same way.
Wholesale market price over three years
We watch the market for you and tell you when the time is right. If you give us the green light, we:
- go to our panel of retailers on your behalf
- put every offer into one like-for-like comparison
- recommend the best-value offer, and the best contract length — one, two, three years or longer
- handle all the back-and-forth with the retailers
